Tadeusz Stryjakiewicz – full professor (geography), and head of the Department of Regional Policy and European Integration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland). Fellowships at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main and at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University of London. Visiting lecturer at Erasmus University in  Rotterdam.

Main research interests: economic geography, location of economic activities, organisation and dynamics of socio-economic space (including creative industries), regional and local development, urban and regional policy, contemporary socio-economic spatial transformations.

He participated in a few international research projects, including (1) RURACTION – Social Entrepreneurship in Structurally Weak Rural Regions: Analysing Innovative Troubleshooters in Action (Horizon 2020, MSCA-ITN_2016); (2) RE-CITY – Reviving shrinking cities –innovative paths and perspectives towards livability for shrinking cities in Europe (Horizon 2020, MSCA-ITN_2018); (3) Spatial dimension of (r)evolution on the car market in Poland (National Science Center, 2016/23/B/HS4/00710, 2017).

He is the author (or co-author) of 250 research publications, many expert reports (e.g. for Regional Innovation Strategy, Development Strategy of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, Development Strategy of the City of Poznan, Local Action Plan for Creative Sector in Poznan and Wielkopolska) and member of many research councils and institutions.
