Institute of Socio-Economic Geography and Spatial Management has become a partner of an international project on spatial and strategic planning for the countries located in the Baltic Sea region.

The main objective of the project is the organisation of “Baltic Sea Region Young Planners Contest” entitled “Livable Places and Space of Tomorrow”, which will be held from 26 to 29 August in Poznań.

Young Planners Contest is funded by the Swedish Institute Seed funding for cooperation projects in the Baltic Sea Region. The project partnership consists of the leading partner Boverket – Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning and project partners VASAB (Vision & Strategies Around the Baltic Sea) Committee of Spatial Planning and Development and our Institute.
