The Centre of Spatial and Socio-Economic Analyses is affiliated with the Institute of Socio-Economic Geography and Spatial Management in the framework of the Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation with the seat in the Poznań Scientific-Technological Park. Its mission is to transfer modern research methodology to economic practice, and on the other hand, to use the experiences of economic and administrative entities to refine theoretical conceptions.

Its clients and partners in a search for optimum solutions can be local government units of all types (communes, poviats, voivodeships), local government unions and associations, government administration organs and units they supervise, non-governmental organisations, and all kinds of entrepreneurs who want to start an economic activity or to expand the one they conduct.

The Centre will prepare a special offer of possible activities adjusted to individual requirements and expectations of foreign entrepreneurs and foreign research institutions.

The Centre is rich in staff and technical facilities. It relies primarily on the knowledge and scientific output of workers of the Institute of Socio-Economic Geography and Spatial Management and other institutes of the AMU Faculty of Geographical and Geological Sciences. It also cooperates with eminent researchers in renowned scientific centres, both at home and abroad.
