During the 7th edition of the Central European Conference in Regional Science (CERS), held in Hungary on October 9-11, 2019, it was decided that the next edition will take place in 2021 and will be organised at the Faculty of Socio-Economic Geography and Spatial Management of the Adam Mickiewicz University.

CERS are a series of international conferences organised on behalf of the European Regional Science Association in a two-year cycle in one of the Central European countries. They are addressed to both the scientific community and representatives of the sphere of practice, whose activity focuses on urban and regional science issues in the context of Central Europe.
