We are forwarding information by Dr Michał Rzeszewski, the editor of the special edition of Rozwój Regionalny i Polityka Regionalna (Regional Development and Regional Policy), about an upcoming issue of the journal devoted to digital geographies during the pandemic (http://rr.home.amu.edu.pl/).
‘This is the time of global crisis and human suffering at many levels and in many dimensions. For many of you it is probably also filled with various responsibilities. In spite of that, I believe that this is the time of intensive scientific reflection too, combined with the observation of the socio-spatial dimension of occurring developments. I would like to invite you to reflect together on the role digital technologies play in the period of social distancing—how do they create, shape and mediate between spaces and places. We all have an opportunity to prepare, with your cooperation, an interesting and intellectually stimulating issue dedicated to digital geography.
The issue is planned for the 3rd quarter of 2020.
