In April 2020, Dr Wojciech Dyba, assistant professor at the Faculty of Human Geography and Planning, ended a three-month fellowship at the renowned and one of the oldest in Germany Karl Eberhardt University in Tübingen. The fellowship was financed by the German Agency for Academic Exchange (DAAD) as part of the path of short-term research stays for academic staff.

The fellowship was connected with the research grant ‘Spatial dimension of (r)evolution on the car market in Poland’. The project, financed by the Polish National Science Centre, is implemented for the years 2017–2021 at the Department of Economic Geography under the supervision of Prof. Tadeusz Stryjakiewicz. The stay in Germany was possible thanks to the invitation from Prof. Sebastian Kinder, Head of the Economic Geography Working Group at the University of Tübingen. Despite the restrictions connected with the epidemic threat in the second half of the fellowship, it allowed initiating a hopefully long-lasting scientific cooperation.
