First year of the new field of study Integrated Development Planning was successfully completed in September 2019. The novel programme consists of modules within which, apart from traditional lectures and exercises, students participate in workshops and meetings with practitioners. Last year, additional classes were organised with the representatives of the following local organisations and institutions: the Municipal Urban Studio, the Regional Environmental Protection Agency, Marshal’s Office for the Greater Poland Region, the Greater Poland Museum of Independence, the commune of Murowana Goślina, Volkswagen Group Polska, the local agrotourism farm of the Kaczmarek family, Poznań University of Economics and Business. During the few-days-long fieldwork, students went to the Gdańsk Metropolitan Area, where they participated in meetings in institutions, municipal offices, museums and the University of Gdańsk.

The first edition of this field of study (October 2018 – February 2022) is financed from the project POWR.03.01.00-00-N055/16-00, thanks to the subsidies of the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR).
