Next sessions of the ‘Integrated Development Planning’ have been completed. It is an innovative field of study launched in October 2018 on the initiative of Prof. Paweł Churski and Dr Paweł Motek, possible thanks to the funding obtained from the Operational Program ‘Knowledge, Education, Development’ (POWR.03.01.00-00-N055 / 16-00).

Over the past few months interesting classes held by external employees have been completed. Their aim is to enrich traditional lectures and exercises in teaching rooms. As part of one of the thematic modules, students visited the commune of Tarnowo Podgórne, where they listened to the presentation in the commune office and then were received and shown around the Amazon logistics center (see picture). Within another module, students also met as part of the field exercises with the authorities of the Suchy Las commune, for which they have been preparing a Development Strategy under the supervision of Dr Bartłomiej Kołsut. Classes were also conducted by the employees of the Wielkopolska Agency for Enterprise Development and the representatives of the LEADER Project and Stena Recycling companies.

Since mid-March, due to the epidemic threat, many classes in the project have been held remotely, using communication methods and knowledge transfer via the Internet (like other classes at AMU). The project has been implemented according to the schedule, supervised by the project manager prof. Sylwia Staszewska.
