You are kindly invited to read the upcoming issue of Quaestiones Geographicae 39(2).
It comprises the articles of Polish and foreign researchers describing various problems of human geography and spatial management. There is a cycle of articles devoted to rural areas, including their classification (article by Barraí Hennebry and Tadeusz Stryjakiewicz), internal migration (by Dariusz Ilnicki), creative activities (by Krzysztof Janc, Andrzej Raczyk and Sylwia Dołzbłasz), social innovation (by Marina Novikova, Maria de Fátima Ferreiro and Tadeusz Stryjakiewicz) and transformations in the settlement and the landscape (by Janusz Łach and Barbara Szczepańska and also by Tomasz Figlus).
Other articles are related to the transformation of the landscape in an urban agglomeration (by Barbara Korwel-Lejkowska and Joanna Poczobut). The volume closes with the article by Anna Grochowska and Martyna Małecka, which tackles the issue of potential conflicts in the land-use planning process.
